Overview

RTACC is an intermediate to advanced level course in TAG’s Integrated Emergency Care Programme (IECP). The IECP is a seamless series of courses which range from basic first aid and trauma care, intermediate and advanced trauma care through to advanced trauma and critical care. IECP is a systematic pathway to enhancing skills, knowledge and empowering people to save lives.

Course Summary

RTACC is an intermediate to advanced prehospital care provider level focused trauma and casualty care course, it can be adapted and delivered with the specific needs of organisation in mind. Candidates will be exposed to real life scenarios environments which are greatly enhanced by live actors and simulation.

RTACC has been developed by a team of leading doctors and health care professionals from disciplines ranging from pre-hospital care and emergency medicine to anaesthesia and critical care, with specialist input from fire and rescue and technical rescue specialists. It aims to immerse the learner in their own working environment, enabling them to deliver interventions and treat a wide range of time critical and potentially life changing features of trauma.
